This is the AbuGida after school program that is run by Community for eritrean students between the ages of 6-12.  They study English, math, science and Tigrinya .  They are taught by members of the eritrean community.  One of the founders of the program was an alumni of the african student organization. Yikealo Beyene studied psychology at the IDC in Herzliya and then did his masters there as well in Organizational Behavior Development. The day I attended was the award ceremony day where students are honored for their scholastic achievement.   We are proud to support the school, the principle and the parents who work hard to send their children there to maintain their connection to their heritage and to improve the educational skills.
